Aim: Create a new brand which is contemporary, appealing and would communicate with a wider audience, increasing footfall through the museum.
Museum of Crime
To start my research I thought it would be a good idea to email the museum and ask them if they had any good insight into the history of the museum and just anything in general that could help me, the actual Crime Museum has since shut down but the contact page led to a museum in Tennesse called Alcatraz East that now houses most of the artifacts from the crime museum so thought I would email anyway. I recieved back an email basically telling me they couldnt help so instead just watched youtube videos.

After looking at the crime musuem and how it was set up I was struck by how contrasting and slightly insensitive it seemed to be, it doesn't sit right with me that you could play fun police chase games then look at the actual car Ted Bundy killed people in so I'm hoping to rebrand the museum as a much more respectful and tasteful place.
Comeback Season: Sports After 9/11
Looking at the way exhibits are graphically treated for the 9/11 memorial as they have to be tasteful and respectful but still can be stylish.
